Mission Statement:

Delano Assembly of God is called to bring the message "Christ likeness makes everyday life come alive!"
 
Goal:
Everything we do at Delano Assembly of God is                 unequivocally aimed at seeing God's will done.
Belief:

We believe that God sent His son, Jesus Christ, that all who believe might be saved and have everlasting life. God said,

"That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."    Romans 10:9

We are here to help.  Please share your testimony or needs with us!

Interpretation:

  1. The first step in being saved (reconciling with God) is to recognize that we have sinned and should be held accountable for our sins by God.

  2. The next step is to believe that Christ died and rose again to save us from our sins.

  3. Finally, speak to God from your heart. Confess your sins. He has been patiently calling you and is ready to hear you and forgive you. (1 John 1:9)

  • We believe that Christ Likeness Makes Everyday Life Come Alive.

  • This is accomplished by imitating Christ and influencing others.

  • We also believe that the Word does the work.

  • We strive to see the Holy Spirit move each week in our services and in the every day life of our members.

Belief System

  • The Word of God is our guideline for living life. (2 Tim. 3:16)

  • Everything must pass the standard set forth in Scripture.

  • Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world and is the only way for us to have eternal life (John 14:6).

  • The Gifts of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 12:7-11) are available to believers today and are meant for the edification of the body.

How do we get it done

  • Our Sunday Morning Service is a great time to connect with other believers and join together in a genuine pursuit of God.

  • We have various small groups that meet throughout the month to help connect people with one another. (Women's ministries, Men's ministries, Couple's Bible Studies - to name
    a few)

  • Our monthly Prayer meeting (1st Sunday of the month at 7pm) is another way to build a Christ like life.

  • Know that Delano Assembly of God is a church full of imperfect people who are striving to become more like Christ  every day, because living every day with Jesus can make life come alive!!
