• Annual Men's Advance
  This group, along with other men in the congregation, have an annual "Men's Advance Weekend", two weekends in March. It's a great weekend to get away and spend time with God and other men. Check out information on the district website at www.mnaog.org

April

• Annual Spring & Fall Conference - Check out www.mnbtg.org for more information.
  Each Spring & Fall, the women of the church are invited for a weekend retreat. Each retreat offers the opportunity to fellowship with God and the other women of the congregation at an off-site location. Each retreat has a different theme, but they all come packed full of valuable seminars that apply to your everyday challenges and joys, shopping, visiting, eating, and prayer.

• Ladies Spring Brunch and Silent Auction - Saturday, April 19th, from 9:00am until noon. See front page for details.

• Pinewood Derby -  This year EVERYONE is invited to enter a car. Don't miss this exciting evening!
  
  Annual CORE All-Nighter - Grand Slam, a movie, a service, food and breakfast, cost is $40. This evening is chaperoned by the Youth Pastor and youth leaders.

June

• Supper For Six
  This is a wonderful time to get to know others in the church and have a fun time of food and fellowship.
  
  Groups of six are made up of adults only groups and family groups. You choose the one that works best for you!
  
  How does it work? Each month - June, July, and August - This group meets for lunch or dinner, one time each month. Each group member/couple/family, decides which month they would like to host the gathering and then the rest of the group comes to visit, eat, and get to know you at your home. The day, date, and time is completely up to you and your group.
  
  Example: If there are 3 couples in your group, each couple would host a lunch or dinner, each choosing one of the 3 months - June, July, or Aug. In the end, you've had 3 gatherings giving you some time to get to know the folks in your group.

• Kids Camp
  Each Summer, the Minnesota District Council Assemblies of God holds its Annual Kids Camp at the Lake Geneva Christian Center. 
   

  Children going into grades 3-6 are eligible.

• AIM Trip - The CORE Youth Ministry
  For all teens interested in having a missions experience, this is a great opportunity to give it a try. You will learn how to minister in our communities, learn how to share your faith, and grow in your relationship with Christ.

• Family Camp                                                                                                                   Family Camp at Lake Geneva Christian Center.  Don't worry if you missed camp last year.  Just don't miss it this year!  It is a great place to go with your family to get away from it all and have time a relaxation and spiritual refreshment.  You can go one day, or all ten!  Registration for family camp opens in January, so plan ahead to attend.  For more information go to www.mndistaog.org.

• Jr. Teen II Camp (Grades 7-9)  at Lake Geneva Christian Center.

August

• Sr. Teen II Camp  (Grades 10-12) at Lake Geneva Christian Center.

• Church Picnic - This year we will be combining our picnic with our summer we are combining our church picnic with our Back-to-School Bash on August 26th. We will be providing hamburgers and hot dogs and will let you know what you should bring...things like appetizers, desserts, salads, etc. If you would like to be baptized, please talk to Pastor Tyler or Pastor Sam.

• Valley Fair Day - Every year in August the Assemblies of God youth (7th - 12th grade) in Minnesota get together for a fun-filled day at Valley Fair. This year the date is Thursday, August 7th.

• VBS (Vacation Bible School) - Watch for dates on home page.

• Super Sunday Back-to-School Splash Bash!- This day will be a cure for your kids back to school blues! We will be grilling hamburgers and hot dogs, and we will provide beverages. This will also be our church picnic, so we are asking you to bring a dish to pass......a main dish, salad or dessert. We will provide all of the paper products. We are going to have AWESOME INFLATABLES, including bounce house, obstacle course and a 25' water slide! We'll also have a dunk tank and a  snow-cone machine. We'll have games, prizes, treats, lot of fun for all!  We will also be having a baptismal service outside afterward. Please contact Pastor Tyler or Pastor Sam if you would like to get baptized.  Mark this date on your calendar!!! 

September - Alpha Training starts

• Youth Convention                                                                                                        Thousands of teenagers coming together to worship God in one place at one time.  That is exactly what happens at MYC (MN Youth Convention).  Held annually in October over MEA weekend, this is a great event for all teenagers to come together and have a real experience with a real God. 

• Women's Fall Retreat, " Ladies, don't miss this weekend located at the beautiful Lake Geneva Christian Center in Alexandria. Check out the website for more information www.mnbtg.org. Please register on your own, then contact us as we are trying to coordinate the lodging.

• Fall Festival - Here at Delano Assembly of God we have an annual event called the Fall Festival.  It is a Halloween alternative party for your children. If you want a safe place for your kids to come to have fun playing games and getting candy, come to the Fall Festival.  It is open to the whole community!  All we ask is for parental supervision and no scary costumes, please. 

November

• Youth Pastor's Retreat                                                                                                      A time for our youth pastor to get away, be refreshed and challenged. Always a wonderful time of growth and fellowship.

December

• Adult Progressive Dinner -  It is a great time to enjoy some specially prepared food, get to know some new friends and laugh with some old ones.  During the evening you start out at someone in the churches house for salad or appetizer and then after that has been sampled you travel to the next house where you enjoy the main course and then everyone will all meet back at the church for coffee and dessert and a review of what houses you went to and what you enjoyed from the evening. 

• Christmas Program - We will combine an Adult Christmas Cantata with the Kids Choir program this year.
